At We Count! Public Life Data Design Sprint, join other urbanists, coders, civic technologists, designers, and more as we create better ways to collect, understand, and design with open data about people in public space.

The event series includes an evening data collection workshop and meetup (May 9), opening party (May 11), and full-day design challenge (May 12), where interdisciplinary teams will design and pitch new approaches for transparently using public life data for public benefit.

When we understand more about what we care about in our cities’ public spaces—people—we can better shape policies, plans, and designs that work better for everyone.
